Etisalat Nigeria entered the vibrant and competitive GSM market 7years after the GSM revolution in Nigeria. The licence was received via a bilateral agreement between the Federal Government of Nigeria and the United Arab Emirates through its investment arm Mubadala Development Company in March 2007.
